the known locations of British publishers, printers,
booksellers and stationers, active 1830-1939.
- Dicey
and Marshall Catalogue 1764 -
An unusual and fascinating site devoted to the 1764 wholesale
catalogue of books and other printed items sold by Cluer Dicey
and Richard Marshall, the celebrated producers of cheap print.
Titles listed in the catalogue are linked to modern bibliographical
records.

Working Papers in British Book Trade History -
a web site making available Ian Maxted's very useful working
papers on the history of the book trade, especially in London,
and in Devon and South-Western England, but also with some national
lists.

Book Trade Database - a
Microsoft Access file developed by Michael L. Turner of over
30,000 individuals active in the London book trades from the
introduction of printing to around 1830. Emphasis is placed on
recording specific events in each individual's life, and on
recording the inter-relationships, both familial and
professional, within the trade.
- Nichols
Archive Project
- an analytical guide to the
correspondence and papers of John Nichols (1745-1826) and
family, printers and antiquaries.
- Nineteenth-Century
American Children's Book Trade Directory
- a database of individuals and firms involved in the manufacture
and distribution of children's books in the United States chiefly
between 1821 and 1876.
- Scottish
Book Trade Archive Inventory - The
Scottish Book Trade Archive Inventory is a searchable index of
archival papers held in Scotland relating to the print and
allied trades. The first phase of the project pilot was
completed in March 2006.
